Gardner-Westcott stainless jam nuts in USA sizes give Harley-Davidson owners the corrosion-resistant locking hardware needed to secure adjusters and secondary fasteners across the main American thread sizes used on Big Twin and Sportster models. A jam nut is threaded against a primary nut to prevent it rotating under vibration — a critical function on cable adjusters, brake rod end fittings and any threaded rod or stud that must be locked at a specific position. Gardner-Westcott produce their jam nuts in stainless steel to provide lasting corrosion resistance on a component that is typically exposed at the end of a threaded adjuster and fully visible on the finished motorcycle. Stainless finish also matches polished hardware and chrome accessories without introducing a rust spot that would mark surrounding components. Iron City Motorcycles, an authorised Harley-Davidson dealer in Leeds, carries Gardner-Westcott stainless jam nuts in USA sizes alongside a comprehensive fastener and hardware range.
