Transmission Colony

Colony Machine transmission hardware covers the fasteners, case bolts and shift mechanism hardware that a proper gearbox rebuild on a Harley-Davidson requires. Transmission internals get the attention during any rebuild, but the case fasteners, shift cover bolts and drain plug hardware that hold everything together are equally important — the wrong grade or incorrect thread pitch creates problems that surface after the gearbox is back in the frame. Colony produces application-specific transmission hardware kits for Harley-Davidson five-speed and six-speed gearboxes across Twin Cam and Milwaukee-Eight platforms, providing the correct bolt grades, thread specifications and finishes in a single kit rather than sourcing individual fasteners. Their chrome and polished hardware options also allow builders to match the transmission covers to the wider aesthetic of a build, which is a finishing detail that matters on exposed drivetrain components. Iron City Motorcycles, an authorised Harley-Davidson dealer in Leeds, stocks Colony transmission hardware kits. Browse the full Colony Transmission range below.
